I haven't made anything in quite awhile due to having to take my shop down to sell our house. I did set up in the garage at the Branson condo but it has been to cold to work in there. I was able to make a slumped glass kaleidoscope for our church mission auction. There was a silent auction as well as a live auction. The kaleidoscope was in the live auction and sold for more than anything else in the auction. It sold for a paltry sum of $240. It really felt good to make something again.

Too busy farming.
I'd love to be doing that too! I have a friend that farms over 2000 acres in northern Indiana.

Wow. House selling is an epidemic around here lately!!!!! I hope you got what you wanted in the move. $240 WOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Boy, do I feel blessed to have your orange one from AGG. Is that Farmvilling????????????????? Shame! I have stayed off Facebook for years because the kids keep begging me to go on. The other night my daughter took my lap top out of my hands and signed me up. 4am later and was still exploring new frontiers. It is so hard to ignore this stuff. Happy farming Jim. Can't wait until you are growing glass again when the warm weather comes back.

Quality not quantity. Glad the kaleidoscope brought in a lot of money for charity. Kudos to you Jim!

Thanks everyone I was so close to the wire that I didn't get a picture taken but it was very much the same as the one Judy bought at the AGC. I was really pleased with the amount it brought but would have been content with any purchase price, it is great to be able to help others.
Judy our house hasn't sold yet, but we are trying so far we have dropped the price $12,000. It is gettting lots of attention and a couple of second showings, so maybe soon.
I will see if I can find a picture of Judy's and post it.

Good Luck with your house. How's this for a photo. It is on the auction table at AGG. I still plan to make fused inter-changable discs for it someday

Mona I made one using Adventurine Green that came out pretty nice.
Here is another picture of Judy's. The last one is made from the same glass but had white bone bead legs instead of the orange glass beads.
